WIOG Roofsit

Each year we bring awareness to the problem of child abuse in Mid-Michigan by helping out the CAN Council Saginaw County, Nathan Weidner Children's Advocacy Center and NEW this year Safe and Sound Child Protection and Advocacy Center in Midland.  Our very own Demas makes the ultimate sacrifice and lives on the roof of a McDonalds to make a statement against child abuse.

WIOG Cares for Kids Radiothon

Some of our favorite kids in the world have been treated at Hurley Medical Center thru the Children's Miracle Network.  We salute them every April during the WIOG Cares for Kids Radiothon.  We also help raise funds that support the hospital and the programs they offer during 3 days of inspirational stories, music and talks with the families.

WIOG Coats for Kids

This year will be our 25th year for the Coats for Kids program.  Look for the collection boxes in malls coming in early October thru mid-November for your new and gently used coats, gloves and hats.  We partner with the Salvation Army and ABC-12 in Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Ogemaw, Genesee and Shiawassee Counties.

WIOG/Farm Bureau Christmas Wishes

Each year Mile High leads the charge for WIOG along with Farm Bureau agents in helping Mid-Michigan kids have a happy Christmas by collecting toys for those that may be underpriveledged.  Look for our "Stuff a Box" promotion coming up December 4-6th when we collect toys over a couple days at the Farm Bureau office on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw.
