Harlem Wizards Community Event (Community)
Location: Hemlock High School

The Harlem Wizards a professional entertainment basketball team will be facing our Saginaw Area All-stars comprised of familiar faces from within our community. Sunday November 8th with shows at 1:00PM and 6:00PMTickets available at www.harlemwizards.com, Hemlock High School office, Carls Auto Body, Farm Bureau Insurance of Hemlock, Wright Pharmacy and Hemlock Ace Hardware. Advance ticket prices are; Student/Senior $7.00, General $8.00. Tickets also available at the door $10.00 student/sr and $11.00 general

Scarecrow Contest (Family and Kids)
Location: Outside

Calling all families...it’s time to get those creative juices flowing. Families are encouraged to work together to design and create a scarecrow for your yard. Photograph your creation and send the photo along with a short explaination to Saginaw County Parks. Win prizes from Mid-Michigan Children's Museum, Saginaw Children's Zoo, Zehnder’s Splash Village and Leaman’s Green Applebarn!Be sure to include the names of all of the creators and contributors, address, email and phone number. Entries can be mailed to: Saginaw County Parks, 111 South Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602 or emailed to: parks@saginawcounty.com All entries must be created in Saginaw County.All entries will be posted on the website.Deadline for submitting photos is November 30th at 5pm. Judging will take place at the beginning of December and winners will be notified mid-December.

KidZone: A Family Experience (Family and Kids)

Dozens of volunteers will come together October 12 in New Lothrop to create a unique family experience for area communities.Launching Sunday, October 12, at 10:10 a.m., KidZone fuses together music, dance, games and drama for a high-energy experience designed to keep both children and parents engaged—all while teaching key values and morals.KidZone will take place every Sunday from 10:10 a.m. to noon in the New Lothrop Community Life Center, located at 7406 S.
