Calling all families...it’s time to get those creative juices flowing. Families are encouraged to work together to design and create a scarecrow for your yard. Photograph your creation and send the photo along with a short explaination to Saginaw County Parks. Win prizes from Mid-Michigan Children's Museum, Saginaw Children's Zoo, Zehnder’s Splash Village and Leaman’s Green Applebarn!Be sure to include the names of all of the creators and contributors, address, email and phone number. Fall Food Challenge (Community)
Time: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location: Garber High School Cafeteria

You've seen it on the Food Network, now show us your skills in our Fall Food Challenge. Teams of 1 or 2 may enter one of four categories: Party Favorites, Deserts, Kid Cuisine or Cake Decorating (Halloween theme). Kids are welcome to enter age 10-14 with parent. Each category will be judges separately and the top winner of each will move on to the grand champion round. The grant champion will win a minimum prize of $100. Other prizes will be awarded as well. Jews first arrived on Polish territory before the medieval state was consolidated. They have remained central to the country's self-identity ever since. This lecture exams the parallel history of Jews and Polish Christians over a millennium of interaction and accommodation. It focuses on key turning points that are best understood through an examination of interactions between the two cultures. The lecture pays particular attention to developments in Krakow and in Galicia (southern Poland), where the Wyatt Exploration group will travel.
